Old Vine Muscat
Wine
Chambers Rosewood Old Vine Muscat is made from Muscat à Petit Grains, or Brown Muscat, as it is known locally in Rutherglen.
The grapes are left to shrivel on the vine, increasing natural sugar levels. The raisined grapes are picked, crushed and partially fermented. The juice is fortified and set aside to age in old oak casks.
The wine sits at the Classic tier of Rutherglen's fortified wine classification. This means it is blended, bottled and released with an average age of 8-10 years.
Deep tawny red, Chambers Rosewood Old Vine Muscat has rich dried fruit flavours, spicy aged complexity and fresh acidity.
Fully matured and ready for immediate enjoyment.
