Henschke Abbotts Prayer is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from the winery's organic and biodynamic vineyard at Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills.

Grown at 550 metres altitude, the fruit receives the right balance of sunshine and cool temperatures to ensure it ripens yet retains its natural acidity. Post ferment, the wine matures in new and seasoned French oak for 18 months prior to blending and bottling.

Deep crimson, Henschke Abbotts Prayer is a complex, spicy and textural with dark berry flavours and long, fine tannins. Cellaring potential is 25 years.
