Wine

Grant Burge 40 Year Old Super Rare Fortified Tawny is a blend of the classic Barossa Tawny varieties Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre. This wine has been decades in the making.

Parcels are aged in barrel over many years. Then, through a process of fractional blending, older parcels are blended with younger ones to produce a wine with an average age of 40 years.

Deep tawny, Grant Burge 40 Year Old Super Rare Fortified Tawny’s aroma is voluminous with scents of toffee, praline, roasted almonds, Kirsch and quince paste.

Time captured in a bottle. It is lush yet elegant, with balanced acidity and great persistence.

Made in tiny quantities.
