Single Vineyard Tumbarumba Chardonnay
Wine
McWilliam’s Single Vineyard Tumbarumba Chardonnay is made with fruit handpicked from a specially selected site at Tumbarumba in the New South Wales high country.
The grapes are destemmed then processed through the winery’s small quantity crusher and press. Portions of the juice are barrel fermented, and less than half undergo malolactic fermentation to soften the acidity.
The wine matures on its ferment lees in new and seasoned French oak. It is then racked from barrel, gently fined, stabilized and filtered for bottling.
Pale yellow, McWilliam’s Single Vineyard Tumbarumba Chardonnay has an array of fruit flavours with zesty acidity and a mineral finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
