Burkes Hill Riesling
Wine
Gibson Burkes Hill Riesling draws from the Burkes Hill Vineyard, situated just outside the Eden Valley township in the Barossa high country. It lies on a gentle easterly slope.
The fruit is entrusted to white winemaker Andrew Wigan. The juice is cold settled and clarified prior to a slow fermentation over many weeks. There is no oak influence, only stainless steel is used.
Pale straw green, Gibson Burkes Hill Riesling has intense citrus flavours, a mineral acid backbone and a long, clear finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
