Piccadilly Valley Vintage Rosé
Wine
Ashton Hills Piccadilly Valley Vintage Rosé is made with Pinot Noir grown on a single site in the Piccadilly Valley, an especially cool, wet and humid part of the Adelaide Hills.
The grapes are handpicked, chilled and gently whole bunch pressed. The colourless juice ferments in tank to form the base wine, which is then bottled for its second fermentation in the traditional French method.
After one year, the sparkling wine is disgorged (its lees are removed) and a small amount of dry Pinot Noir is added to enhance colour, flavour and texture.
Salmon pink, Ashton Hills Piccadilly Valley Vintage Rosé has fresh fruit flavours, supple texture and crisp, clean finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
