Rubato Reserve Fiano
Wine
Coriole Rubato Reserve Fiano draws from the winery's original 2001 plantings of the variety. Originating from southern Italy, Fiano thrives in McLaren Vale's warm maritime climate.
Rubato is a musical term meaning 'to play freely or with abandon'. Rubato Reserve Fiano began as small experimental parcels fruit, free from the expectation to adhere to a certain style.
The grapes are picked slightly riper than is typical. At the winery, the juice spends time on skins to encourage the extraction of flavour and texture, then is fully fermented in seasoned oak barrels.
Golden straw, Coriole Rubato Reserve Fiano celebrates the variety's textural qualities alongside rich fruit flavours and length. Cellaring potential is five years.
