Wine

Crittenden Estate Kangerong Pinot Noir is a blend of seven clones of Pinot Noir, all grown on the winery's cool climate Home Vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula.

Each Pinot Noir clone is handled individually to vinify its unique character. The fruit is destemmed and cold soaked under a carbon dioxide cover for several days.

The juice is then warmed to ambient temperature to begin natural yeast fermentation. Once pressed, the wine settles in tank before being racked to new and recently used French oak.

After 11 months in barrel, the individual Pinot Noir clones are blended together in tank. The wine is racked and bottled without fining or filtration.

Light red, Crittenden Estate Kangerong Pinot Noir has black cherry flavours, thoughtful oak and a velvety texture. Cellaring potential is five years.
