Red Lilac Chardonnay

Foxeys Hangout Red Lilac Chardonnay is grown on the old, rich clay soils of the Red Lilac Vineyard. The organically managed site is located at Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula.

Fermentation takes place with natural yeasts and the juice is handled in an oxidative manner. Only French oak barrels are used, and new oak influence is carefully measured to add complexity, not dominate.

Pale straw, Foxeys Hangout Red Lilac Chardonnay has crunchy stone fruit flavours, green apple acidity and nutty oak. Cellaring potential is five years.
