Forest Hill Vineyard Block 2 Riesling draws from the winery's 1975 plantings at Mount Barker, hand harvested in several passes to ensure the fruit is picked at optimal ripeness.

Whole bunch pressed the juice is chilled and settled. A small portion is racked to seasoned Austrian oak barrels while the rest is racked to stainless steel tanks.

The juice ferments with a mix of wild and inoculated yeasts, with the temperatures kept cool, elongating the process. The wine then develops complexity through extended time on lees.

Pale straw green, Forest Hill Vineyard Block 2 Riesling is a racy, textural wine with a long finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
