Mewstone Hughes & Hughes Lees Aged Chardonnay draws from a single Tasmanian vineyard each year, sited anywhere from the state's north-west to the Coal River Valley near Hobart.

The fruit is whole bunch pressed directly to new and seasoned oak barrels. Following natural yeast fermentation and partial malolactic fermentation, the wine matures on lees for 10 months. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Deep yellow, Mewstone Hughes & Hughes Lees Aged Chardonnay is rich and textural with well balanced fruit flavours and acidity. Cellaring potential is five years.
