Old Cherry Orchard 10K Pinot Noir

Scorpo Wines Old Cherry Orchard 10K Pinot Noir is grown on the estate's defunct cherry orchard turned vineyard, densely planted at up to 10,000 vines per hectare.

The fruit is handpicked, predominantly destemmed and cold soaked to build flavour and complexity in the juice. It is then fermented with wild yeasts in a mix of concrete and stainless steel fermenters.

After pressing, the wine is transferred to a selection of tight grained French oak barrels, around 20% new. It matures for one year prior to bottling.

Bright crimson, Scorpo Wines Old Cherry Orchard 10K Pinot Noir has intense cherry flavours with chewy tannins and length. Cellaring potential is seven years.
