R. Lane Vintners Henty Pinot Noir

The Story Wines R. Lane Vintners Henty Pinot Noir is from Rowan's Lane Vineyard at Warnambool in western Victoria, planted on very free draining soils of black volcanic loams.

The fruit, tiny berries in tiny bunches, is a mix of the MV6 and 115 Pinot Noir clones. Typically it is fermented as whole bunches in 1,000 litre oak vats. The ferments, which last for about three weeks, take place with indigenous yeasts.

Crimson red, The Story Wines R. Lane Vintners Henty Pinot Noir has juicy red fruit flavours with deeply savoury characters. Cellaring potential is seven years.
