The New Australian Collection Montepulciano
Wine
Coriole The New Australian Collection Montepulciano is an Italian variety first planted at the winery's McLaren Vale vineyard in 2001. It grows on terra rossa soil.
A late ripening variety, the Montepulciano fruit is harvested last at Coriole. After fermentation, the wine matures for 12-14 months in French oak hogsheads before preparing for bottling.
Deep red, Coriole The New Australian Collection Montepulciano is medium bodied with dense fruit profile and savoury tannins. Cellaring potential is six years.
