Pinot Noir
Wine
TarraWarra Estate Pinot Noir is estate grown from vines on several blocks. High north facing slopes maximize sunshine hours while northerly winds from Long Gully provide beneficial air flow.
The grapes are hand harvested and whole bunch pressed. Fermentation takes place with natural yeasts in French oak barriques and puncheons, a small percentage new.
Made the same way as the Reserve wine, the estate Pinot Noir is produced from a different selection of fruit parcels and barrel combinations.
Deep vermillion, TarraWarra Estate Pinot Noir has bright dark fruit flavours, subtle oak and fine tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
