Phillip Stanley Reserve Chardonnay

Nannup Estate Phillip Stanley Reserve Chardonnay is a tribute to the late Phillip Stanley Blizard, brother of winery co-founder Mark Blizard. It is made only in special years.

The fruit is harvested and chilled. Depending on the vintage, the grapes are either pressed directly to barrel, or the juice is cold settled and racked first. Fermentation takes place with wild yeasts in French oak.

The barrels are stirred once a week until a balanced texture is achieved. After 10 months, each barrel is tasted and the best are selected for the final blend. The wine is gently fined and filtered before bottling.

Bright straw, Nannup Estate Phillip Stanley Reserve Chardonnay has vibrant stone fruit flavours, elegant oak and natural acidity giving length. Cellaring potential is six years.
