Origins GM198 Clone Riesling
Wine
Carillion Wines Origins GM198 Clone Riesling draws from a vineyard on the slopes of Mount Canobolas in Orange. At 800 metres altitude, it is a truly cool climate site.
The fruit is harvested from Alsatian GM198 clone Riesling vines. The wine is produced in small batches with minimal intervention: the focus is on bringing a sense of the variety, region and individual site to the final blend.
Straw yellow, Carillion Wines Origins GM198 Clone Riesling has juicy citrus flavours, with mineral acidity on the finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
