Plantagenet Normand Pinot Noir
Wine
Plantagenet Normand Pinot Noir is drawn from sites across the Great Southern region, often including the estate Rocky Horror and Crystal Brook Vineyards in Mount Barker.
The fruit is picked by machine and by hand in the early morning to preserve its delicate flavours and aromas. Most parcels are gently destemmed to open top fermenters without crushing.
Post ferment, the wine is pressed to tank and racked to new and seasoned French oak barrels for maturation. After careful blending, the wine is fined, filtered and bottled.
Ruby red, Plantagenet Normand Pinot Noir is a savoury, earthy wine with soft red fruit flavours, complex oak spice and fine acidity. Cellaring potential is five years.
