Wine

Lethbridge The Bartl Chardonnay is named after Stefan Bartl, who has meticulously tended the Lethbridge Vineyard's Chardonnay from their infancy.

These low cropped Chardonnay vines, located north-west of Geelong, grow 250 metres above sea level in a continental climate. Small crop volumes ensure concentrated flavours.

Indigenous yeast fermentation occurs entirely in new French oak puncheons. The juice is then racked and the portion of new oak is reduced to around 80%. During 12 months of ageing, the wine sees natural malolactic fermentation.

Bright yellow with green hues, Lethbridge The Bartl Chardonnay has ripe stone fruit flavours and complex spicy, nutty oak. Cellaring potential is five years.
