Pinot Noir
Wine
Lark Hill Pinot Noir is sourced from the Lark Hill Vineyard on the escarpment above Lake George, planted to MV6 and Dijon 115 clone Pinot Noir.
At 860 metres above sea level, the fruit ripens slowly in the autumn sun, building aromas and flavours. Fermentation is with wild yeasts, with some of the fruit left as whole bunches. The wine then matures in new and seasoned French oak barrels.
Crimson red, Lark Hill Pinot Noir is savoury and fragrant in style, with dark cherry flavours. Cellaring potential is five years.
