Wine
Fermoy Estate Merlot is sourced from the estate vineyard at Wilyabrup in Margaret River. The area is renowned for its rich, loamy soils and Mediterranean climate.
The wine is predominantly Merlot, with small parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon and/or Shiraz added in some vintages. Post ferment, the wine matures for 18 months in new and seasoned French oak barrels from a selection of Bordeaux coopers.
Rich plum red, Fermoy Estate Merlot has plush red and black fruit flavours underlined by earthy tannins and subtle savouriness. Cellaring potential is eight years.
