Blue Pyrenees Estate Shiraz is drawn from low yielding estate vines across the Pyrenees region of western Victoria. The wine is made with many different parcels of fruit.
The blend is predominately Shiraz, with a dash of Viognier in some years. The wine matures for 18-24 months in American and French oak barrels – some new and others up to eight years old – to add softness, texture and complexity.
Ruby red, Blue Pyrenees Estate Shiraz is medium bodied with soft tannins, allowing red fruit flavours to linger through to the finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
