Wine
Amelia Park Shiraz is sourced from a single vineyard in Frankland River. The site is chosen for its ability to produce Shiraz with distinctly regional characteristics.
The fruit is handpicked in the cool of the night to maintain its quality. A cool fermentation occurs in static fermenters, taking around two weeks to gently extract colour and flavours.
The wine is then carefully pressed off skins to a mix of new and seasoned large format French oak barrels. After ageing for 12 months in barrel, it is blended and bottled.
Deep vermillion, Amelia Park Shiraz has dark berry flavours and hints of spice supported by soft subtle tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
