Wine
Adelina Estate Shiraz is sourced from Block 4 of the estate vineyard at Springfarm in the Clare Valley. The vines are thought to have been planted in the 1910s.
The grapes are destemmed for two separate ferments, half are crushed and half kept as whole berries. After an average 30 days on skins, the wine is pressed to 700 litre neutral French oak for malolactic fermentation and 8-10 months of maturation.
Deep red, Adeline Estate Shiraz has savoury dark fruit flavours with silky tannins, mineral freshness and a long finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
