Single Vineyard Hexham Pinot Noir
Wine
Soumah Single Vineyard Hexham Pinot Noir is grown in the Warramate Foothills at Gruyere in the Yarra Valley – an area well suited to this demanding variety.
The wine is a blend of several Pinot Noir clones. The fruit is cold soaked to build savoury complexity. Fermentation is with wild yeasts, followed by a long period of maturation in French oak barrels.
Crimson red, Soumah Single Vineyard Hexham Pinot Noir has precise fruit flavours with savoury, earthy complexity. Cellaring potential is seven years.
