Richings Shiraz
Wine
Rosenthal Richings Shiraz is named after Gerald and Marjorie Richings, who planted the original Rosenthal vineyard on the rich, loamy soils of their cattle stud.
Richings Shiraz is only made in years where the fruit is considered to be outstanding. The grapes are crushed and cold soaked before undergoing fermentation in open vessels. The wine then develops in French oak for more than a year before bottling.
Crimson purple, Rosenthal Richings Shiraz balances red berry and dark cherry flavours with savoury tones and fine tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
