Richings Chardonnay
Wine
Rosenthal Richings Chardonnay is named after Gerald and Marjorie Richings, who planted the original Rosenthal vineyard on the rich, loamy soils of their cattle stud.
The wine is only made in years where the fruit is considered to be outstanding. The grapes are whole bunch pressed to French oak for barrel fermentation. During nine months of maturation, the wine typically sees some lees stirring.
Brilliant straw, Rosenthal Richings Chardonnay weaves together stone fruit flavours, rich nutty characters and soft mineral acidity. Cellaring potential is five years.
