No.8 Schatzkammer Riesling
Wine
Rieslingfreak No.8 Schatzkammer Riesling is sourced from several rows of vines on the Jaeschke Vineyard at Polish Hill River. Its vigorous vines produce large berries perfect for this style of wine.
It is a low alcohol, sweeter wine inspired by the German Kabinett style. The grapes are picked early with high levels of natural acidity. The ferment is stopped early, leaving a high level of residual sugar that is offset by the fruit's natural acidity.
Straw yellow, Rieslingfreak No.8 Schatzkammer Riesling balances citrus and tropical fruit flavours with vibrant acidity and sweetness. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
