Cracker Barrels Shiraz Cabernet is the result of barrel tasting other Paxton wines. When certain parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon, Jones Block Shiraz, or even the flagship EJ Shiraz stand out from the rest, they are kept aside.

Up to four barrels are selected for the final blend. They are considered to be the highest quality barrels – or 'cracker barrels' – of the vintage.

Deep red purple, Paxton Cracker Barrels Shiraz Cabernet is full bodied with a seamless fruit profile and polished tannins. Cellaring potential is 20 years.
