Wine
Moores Hill Estate Chardonnay is sourced from mature estate plantings in the Tamar Valley, located at 120 metres above sea level on a north-east facing hillside.
The fruit is handpicked into small bins, pressed and fermented with a mix of wild and cultured yeasts. Fermentation and around eight months of ageing occurs in French oak barrels to add complexity. The wine sees partial malolactic fermentation.
Straw green, Moores Hill Estate Chardonnay has delicate citrus and toasty oak flavours framed by a tight acidity. Cellaring potential is five years.
