Higher Plane The Messenger Cabernet Blend is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot or Malbec and Cabernet Franc. All the fruit is from the estate vineyard at Forest Grove in Margaret River.

The grapes are handpicked in several batches. After a short cold soak, they are open fermented on skins with some hand plunging. The Cabernet Sauvignon spends 2-3 weeks on skins while the other varieties are pressed after up to 10 days.

The wine is then sent to new and seasoned French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and 18 months of maturation.

Deep crimson, Higher Plane The Messenger Cabernet Blend is a plush, juicy wine. Its ripe fruits, dense tannins and savoury oak lead to a persistent finish. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
