Wine

Eldridge Estate PTG Gamay Pinot Noir is an equal blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir from the estate vineyard at Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula.

It is inspired by the Burgundy wine style passetoutgrain or 'blend of grapes'. As David Lloyd's label neatly has it, 'Pressed Together' or 'PTG'.

The estate vineyard is similar in both altitude and climate to Burgundy. The grapes remain in tank as whole bunches for nearly a week before they are destemmed into a large fermenter.

Following wild yeast fermentation the wine ages in new and seasoned French oak for six months.

Bright crimson, Eldridge Estate PTG Gamay Pinot Noir is juicy with ripe red fruit flavours. Ideal summer drinking. Best consumed lightly chilled.
