Growers' Selection Roussanne

Castagna Growers’ Selection Roussanne draws from the Indigo Vineyard, neighbouring the estate vineyard outside Beechworth in north-east Victoria.

Traditional and minimal interference winemaking methods prevail. The grapes are whole bunch pressed and the juice is barrel fermented with indigenous yeasts. Maturation occurs in tight grained French oak barrels for 18 months.

Straw green, Castagna Growers’ Selection Roussanne is rich and round with stone fruit flavours, a creamy texture and a long finish. Cellaring potential 10 years.
