Wine
Hahndorf Hill Shiraz is sourced from the estate vineyard at the edge of Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills, where the cool climate stretches out the ripening season.
The fruit is hand harvested from vines grown in sandy loam and red clay soils, richly embellished with slate, quartz and ironstone. After fermentation, the wine matures in French oak barrels for around 12 months.
Deep crimson, Hahndorf Hill Shiraz has layers of red fruit, warm spice and fine tannins wrapped around a juicy acidity. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
