Cabernet Sauvignon

Voyager Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is made with hand selected fruit parcels from exceptional estate Cabernet blocks. The selected blocks are known for consistently producing fruit with great intensity and individuality.

The smallest details are scrutinized throughout the viticulture and winemaking process to create a wine that is truly expressive Voyager Estate's coastal vineyards and Margaret River's remote environment.

Each fruit parcel is vinified separately. Bunches are gently destemmed to retain as many whole berries as possible. During fermentation, the juice sees regular gentle pump overs or plunging.

Select parcels remain on skins for up to 20 days, then the wine matures in 50% new French oak for 18 months. Racking every few months aids clarification.

Small portions of Merlot and, in some vintages, Petit Verdot are included in the final blend. The wine is fined and filtered prior to bottling.

Dark red, Voyager Estate Cabernet Sauvignon has a core of sweet fruit flavours with a gravelly savoury element. Supple tannins and seamless oak lead to a lengthy finish.
