Museum Release Great Southern Riesling
Wine
Howard Park Museum Release Great Southern Riesling is predominantly sourced from the estate's Mount Barker vineyard with the addition of some Porongurup fruit.
Individual vineyard blocks are vinified separately. The fruit is processed immediately upon arriving at the winery to ensure the highest quality juice. The best batches are earmarked for Howard Park's top Rieslings.
Only the finely structured free run juice is used. After settling, the juice is racked for cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks, which maintains the delicate fruit flavours.
Extensive blending ensures an elegant and powerful wine. After bottling it is stored in ideal conditions in the winery’s cellars, gaining complexity for another five years until its youth has begun to yield.
Bright pale yellow, Howard Park Museum Release Great Southern Riesling is rich and layered with its fine citrus acidity delivering length.
It is one of Australia's most collected Rieslings. Cellaring potential is 10 years from release.
