Scotsworth Farm Pinot Noir

Foxeys Hangout Scotsworth Farm Pinot Noir draws from the estate's original Scotsworth Farm Vineyard at Merricks North on the Mornington Peninsula, planted in 1998.

Small batches of fruit see native yeast fermentation with hand plunging. In the spring, native malolactic fermentation follows in French oak. For maturation a high proportion of the oak is new, which integrates with the fruit to form rich, complex characters.

Pale ruby, Foxeys Hangout Scotsworth Farm Pinot Noir has upfront fruit flavours, structural tannins and savoury, earthy weight. Cellaring potential is seven years.
