Estate Grown Viognier
Wine
Elgee Park Estate Grown Viognier draws from one of the oldest plantings of Viognier in Australia, planted in 1979 on the Mornington Peninsula.
The fruit is whole bunch pressed and the juice is settled overnight. Half is fermented in stainless steel to maximize the fruit flavours. The remainder is fermented in seasoned barrels with several months of lees stirring to add creaminess and textural complexity.
Pale straw, Elgee Park Estate Grown Viognier is textured with creamy apricot flavours, notes of spice and a long dry finish. Made for immediate enjoyment.
