Reserve Pinot Noir
Wine
Bream Creek Reserve Pinot Noir is grown on a north-east ridge overlooking Marion Bay on Tasmania's east coast. The gentle slope and maritime influence provide optimal ripening conditions.
Traditional winemaking methods prevail in the winery. There is some wild fermentation, with cultured yeast also added, and a small whole bunch inclusion. The wine is aged in a mix of new and seasoned French oak barrels.
Only the finest barrels are bottled under the Reserve label. In some vintages, if the quality is not up to par, no Reserve Pinot Noir is released.
Deep ruby, Bream Creek Reserve Pinot Noir is richer style of Pinot Noir with intense dark fruit flavours, spicy hints and a good tannin structure. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
