Joshua Grenache Mataro Shiraz
Wine
Teusner Joshua Grenache Mataro Shiraz is the inaugural Teusner wine, first produced in 2002. It is named Joshua after the first born son of winery co-founder Mick Page.
The blend is typically two thirds Grenache and one quarter Mataro from century old vines located at Ebenezer in the Barossa Valley's north-west. A splash of Shiraz from Gomersal on the Barossa's western ridge completes the mix.
The wine is unoaked and released young to retain the fresh, spicy characters of each variety.
Crimson purple, Teusner Joshua Grenache Mataro Shiraz has juicy berry flavours, lifted spices and savoury hints. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
