Wine

Yering Station Shiraz Viognier is made from handpicked BVCR12 clone Shiraz and a small portion of Viognier, both Yarra Valley estate grown in loam over mudstone clay soils.

The grapes are destemmed and the whole berries cold soaked prior to inoculation. Both varieties are co-fermented in hand plunged open fermenters. The wine is then pressed to new and seasoned French oak to mature for 18 months.

Carmine red, Yering Station Shiraz Viognier is balanced and complex, with velvety tannins supporting rich dark fruit flavours and spice. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
