The Dam Block Shiraz
Wine
Thomas Wines The Dam Block Shiraz is a modern expression of Hunter Shiraz, handpicked from a tiny block just across the dam from the winery's flagship Kiss Shiraz old vines.
The grapes are cold soaked for 48 hours and fermented on skins for around one week. The wine then matures in premium French oak barrels. After 16 months, the wine is bottled and rested in the cellar for close to a year prior to release.
Deep crimson, Thomas Wines The Dam Block Shiraz is medium bodied with sweet fruit notes, balanced oak and savoury tannins extending its length. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
