Wine
Serrat Grenache Noir is from a handful of old Barossa clone BRVC38 Grenache vines, both the estate's original 2001 plantings and newer 2011 plantings.
The grapes are handpicked and mostly destemmed for natural open fermentation. Once pressed, the wine matures in seasoned French oak barrels for 12 months prior to bottling.
Deep purple, Serrat Grenache Noir is highly fragrant, silky rich and finely poised with layered fruits and a chalky finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
