Curly Flat Chardonnay is made with sustainably grown grapes from the winery's Macedon Ranges vineyard. During harvest, parcels of fruit are separated by vineyard block and vine clone.

Each parcel is whole bunch pressed and wild fermented in barrel. In some vintages a small portion is crushed and partially tank fermented. The extent of malolactic fermentation is decided by vintage.

The wine matures on lees for 14 months in French oak. Only the best barrels are selected for the final blend.

Pale golden straw, Curly Flat Chardonnay has stone fruit flavours, glowing acidity and a lingering finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
