Single Vineyard Cabernet Malbec

Deep Woods Estate Single Vineyard Cabernet Malbec is made from an exceptional Margaret River site selected each year. Each site is conceived to be a distinct expression of Margaret River terroir.

The varieties are fermented separately. The Cabernet ferments in static fermenters, with pump overs and racking to extract tannin and colour. The Malbec parcel is destemmed and open fermented.

The juice is racked to one third new French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation. After pressing, the wine matures in seasoned French oak for 18 months. It is made only in small quantities.

Inky dark red, Deep Woods Estate Single Vineyard Cabernet Malbec has ripe plum flavours framed by chalky tannins. It has fine balance and persistent length. Cellaring potential is seven years.
