Winemakers Selection Hunter Valley Chardonnay

Audrey Wilkinson Winemakers Selection Hunter Valley Chardonnay is handpicked from the winery's historic Pokolbin vineyard, planted in the 1970s. It offers a different expression of Chardonnay to its Orange region counterpart.

The fruit is gently whole bunch pressed to tank where its juice settles overnight. It is racked to new and 1-2 year old French oak barrels where it is topped up with a small percentage of lees to bring about a creamier texture.

The wine is matured in oak for seven months, then lightly fined with skim milk, stabilized, filtered and bottled.

Straw yellow, Audrey Wilkinson Winemakers Selection Hunter Valley Chardonnay has fresh apple and nectarine flavours with a crisp line of acidity. Cellaring potential is seven years.
