Morris Sparkling Shiraz Durif is sourced from cool climate, estate grown vineyards at Rutherglen in north-east Victoria. Morris have been producing this sparkling red since 1988.

This wine is typically 70% Shiraz, with a 30% inclusion of Durif creating a unique variation of the traditional Australian sparkling Shiraz. The base wines mature separately in seasoned oak.

After careful selection and blending the wine is bottled with a small amount of yeast and sugar to produce a naturally sparkling wine. It then ages for 12 months in bottle before the lees are removed.

Deep dark red, Morris Sparkling Shiraz Durif has generous fruitcake flavours with rich, earthy nuances. Perfect for Christmas celebrations. Serve chilled. Enjoy young.
