Wine

Moorooduc Estate Robinson Vineyard Pinot Noir is made with selected fruit from Hugh and Isobel Robinson's vineyard at Moorooduc planted to MV6 and 777 Pinot Noir clones.

The handpicked fruit is destemmed and cooled directly into open fermenters for wild yeast fermentation without crushing followed by 20 days on skins.

The juice sees natural malolactic fermentation in French oak, one quarter new, and 18 months of maturation. Prior to bottling the wine is racked once. There is no fining or filtration.

Bright garnet, Moorooduc Estate Robinson Vineyard Pinot Noir is a flood of pure red fruit flavours, tangy acidity and silky firm tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
