GPL68 Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine
Majella GPL68 Cabernet Sauvignon is named for George Patrick Lynn, patriarch of the family behind Majella. In 1968 he allowed his sons Brian and Anthony Lynn to plant vines on the family's Coonawarra property.
Selected Cabernet fruit begins fermentation in a stainless steel fermenter and completes the process in new French oak hogsheads. The wine is then aged for a further 18 months in the same barrels.
Each barrel is individually assessed. Only eight are selected to comprise the final blend.
Deep purple, Majella GPL68 Cabernet Sauvignon has intense, mouth filling varietal fruit flavours and long lasting, defined tannins. Cellaring potential is 20 years.
