HRB Pinot Noir
Wine
Hardys HRB Pinot Noir blends fruit from the regions best known for the variety. This multi-regional approach to winemaking was pioneered by Hardys founder Thomas Hardy in the 1860s.
It has since become the inspiration for Hardys Heritage Reserve Bin (HRB) range. HRB Pinot Noir is sourced from the Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula.
The fruit is wild yeast fermented separately with some whole bunch inclusion. The wine sees full malolactic fermentation maturing in French oak for eight months. Final blend selections are made at bottling.
Rich red, Hardys HRB Pinot Noir has complex layers of red and dark fruit, spicy oak and silky savoury tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
